DPD 'attempted' to deliver. And i can't get in touch with them.

Expected a parcel today. Was very impressed with the email & text for a 1 hour time slot.

Not so impressed when i get an email saying they'd attempted delivery.

Errr, no you haven't. I've been at home ALL morning since 9:30am (delivery was 1:04pm-2:04pm) & there's been nothing. The email sent from them was 1:15pm.

When i call them to speak to someone, all i get is an automated thing.

So i go on the site to tell them about the issue. I can't submit the form though because they want the parcel or calling card number. Well guess what - i don't have it as they didn't leave a calling card BECAUSE NOBODY HAS BEEN TO THIS ADDRESS!!!

How do i then get in touch with them to say try delivering to the proper address?

Twitter is very good, to get a response from couriers, if you have your delivery/order ref. Unfortunately, they normally only say, you can expect it to be delivered the next day.

If they reply the next day, sometimes they say I see it was delivered today at blah, blah. To me that's not good enough, it's like okay we didn't deliver when we said, the driver lied about attempting to deliver, you received no card, but never mind you got it eventually.

I had a parcel yesterday and the driver was so stressed as he said he had to deliever it before 1200. It was 11:50, so I said don't worry it's only 11:50. He rushed off, saying yeah but F**k it, I've still got another 2 to deliver before 12. So it's no wonder why some miss out drops.

I work with some who used to be couriers & the pressure they get put under, according to the ones i've spoken to is bloody stupid.

I followed the URL above, which i did anyway before i posted here & all i got was - take it up with whoever you bought from.

so i did. They said - we see it's being sent out tomorrow.

Not really good enough though is it. It just so happens i'm off work this week, but i don't want to spend it sitting in every day waiting on an item.

If it doesn't arrive tomorrow i'll tell the company i want a refund & they can cancel the order & collect it back themselves.

Well another delivery was set for today

You guessed it ... another 'failed' attempt. Yes because not bothering is a FAIL!!

So i've emailed the company & told them they've lost out. I want a full refund & they can collect the bloody item back themselves.

I had super service from Parcel Farce. Got a text saying my parcel will be delivered in the next ninety minutes. Half an hour after it had been.

Same thing happened to me today. Tracked the delivery online, only to see the status as "carded". Well, no I haven't been, there's no card and nobody turned up. There's nothing I can do as the depot has no phone number, and I can't arrange redelivery without a card. So I'm in limbo.

Happened to me a while ago - I had to trawl the internet for a number to call for customer services, (they don't make it easy!) eventually found one and ranted at him for long enough that he agreed to get the driver to come back the same day.

I can't be bothered with all that hassle. They can stick the item up their behind. I'll go elsewhere.
