Next VIP slots live

Managed to get one for 6pm Sunday, i'm at work until 5.30, doesn't look like there's much for my little one which is what i wanted to stock up on. And annoyingly some things I bought in store yesterday are going to better than half price.

Funnily enough I just called Next because I had a query over my account and whilst I was on the phone I asked whether I could have a VIP slot. I was told that only accounts that fulfilled certain criteria would get them. The main things apparently are to have placed a 'minimum number' of orders in the last 6 months (she wouldn't say how many - but I have placed 2 orders and that isn't enough) and NOT to have a high percentage of returns.

So if you don't get a VIP slot it could be for one of those reasons.

Checked and got a 5pm Sunday slot - to my dismay. I really hoped it would be Saturday.

I am due to be attending a Christmas event starting that time which will go on all evening til late. :eek:I told my DH about the VIP invite and that I will be late to the event and make my own way after my slot. He was not best pleased to say the least and told me to forget about my slot and wait until Boxing Day.:(

Some people really don't understand the value of these slots.....

Luckily purchased a tablet recently so hoping to log into that quickly although not sure if it will be as good as using my PC. Or I will have to ask my dear brother to order our items on my account.

I always fall out with next over vip slots, I always seem to get a rubbish time and there is never anything left! A collegue of mine gets her text and a slot really early on which isn't fair. Years ago I used to get a good slot but don't know whats happened I keep checking my accounts as the email is always so slow but im not a happy bunny

I didn't get one one year I rang next and eventually after days of speaking to people figured it out...
I had ordered tons as normal with no returns..
The reason I wasn't selected was I had paid off and closed my simply be account, so apparently that appears negatively on your credit rating? Don't know why, perhaps no debt is bad? It was weird..

I booked a 5pm slot earlier but for some reason, my email confirmation has reserved me a 6pm slot. Spoke to Next who insist the earliest slot bookable was 6pm anyway!

I've managed to get a slot and haven't placed any orders at all this year. Think they're trying to encourage me to spend.

Quick question please, those of you that use "Quickshop" do you have to type each code in individually, or is there a way of copying and pasting them all in? TIA x
