Hi PWPS
Yes it seems like real playground antics to be posting stuff like that on FB. Just blatant attention seeking.
Not sure what is wrong with me lately. Seem to be having abit of a mental crisis. Feel a massive urge to just crawl into my shell and not come out for a long time.
People just seem to equal aggro lately.

Hi Steph,
Re: the crawling into a hole thing:(, you need to be kind to yourself, I understand the drive to clear the debt and to get more work to help do so and that you are one very busy lady, but you need to be able to ground yourself/relax mentally, otherwise you might find yourself taking on all the negativity/stress from your clients as you help remove it from them. I know you love listening to "Dave", but can you download/copy some relaxation stuff to your phone or i-pod? to play some of the time to help you along.
At one time I copied a whole lot of my CD's that I owned onto CD ROMs to play on my p.c. while I worked (life was really stressful and I worked on my own a lot which gave me far too much time to think:eek:), not sure if I still have them, but will have a look and send them on if they are here and you think it might help. I did use some formal relaxation ones, but mostly it was tranquil/switch off type things.

Oh Steph what a silly woman. I would definitely distance yourself, how about unfollowing on the evil fbk?!
Ive actually made some of my friendships on fbk acquaintances recently and then set my statuses to friends except acquaintances as I'm sick of some of the comments I get on my posts which are totally uncalled for. I could of course removed them but this way is much easier haha!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -

Hi MM
Thanks for your kind reply. I love being at home, I just when I have to go out and pick the children up.
The school gates feel filled with bored mothers who are just looking for any avenue to criticise each other and stab each other in the back. Friendship groups change like the wind. People who were running someone down last week, could appear to be best friends with them next week.
I timed it quite nice yesterday, I turned up at school just in time for the children to come out and I whisked them away. Hate school gate gossip.
I think you are right, as much as I love listening to Dave Ramsey, I think maybe it doesn't give me any switching off time.
I have been down the Polytunnel this morning and managed to get Classic FM on my phone. It was so lovely, until I heard someone yelling to me and it was an irate delivery driver trying to get my signature

Hi MTG
Good idea about just Unfollowing people, I have done that to pages that post too much, but never a person.
I deleted a load of people off mine the other week as I only want close friends and family, although there are a few that I couldn't delete off for fear of offending them so maybe unfollowing is the answer.
thanks hun xx0 -
Afternoon.
Feeling a little more sane today. I never usually have any breakfast, but the children wanted Porridge this morning, and I made abit too much, so I had a bowl.
WOW  It gave me soooo much energy. I have been down the poly tunnel tidying up all morning, I have potted up two house plants, put away all the washing, cleaned the kitchen, and generally tidied around the whole house, joint of slow roast pork in the oven and its only 12pm :T
Think I will definitely make the effort to have porridge for breakfast, as I think that is what has been making me so lack lustre and too weary to do much. NO FOOD.
Just waiting for a friend to pop round who wants to have a look at my dresses as she has a wedding evening do to go to the weekend and has nothing to wear.
I have lifted all my decent dresses and evening shoes out for her to have a try on.
Ds has a football tournament after school today, so abit busy. Hoping to get back down the poly tunnel after my friend has been round, but she does have a talent at never leaving until school pick up so we will see.
Had my first major glitch with YNAB this morning. I balance my YNAB budget against my bank statement and noticed that I should have around £1100 in the bank, as this includes savings for all my categories and also my £400 Oil delivery payment, but my bank balance was only £753.
Anyway after a lot of complicated (for me) jiggling round, that is too complicated to explain on here, I have managed to get it sorted, but it does mean that I am £300 worse off than I thought. Very annoying, and don't even know how I messed up, so will have to keep a close eye on that from now on.
I should be able to catch up again with hubby's next wage, but annoying non the less.
Hope you are all having a great day xx0 -
Sorry to hear about budget not being as you thought but it is a glitch and don't beat yourself up about it. Its a one off and it is easily rectified as you have said...
I hated school ground politics and as PWPS said it gets SO much easier when they get to secondary school - only trouble is you have no idea who your children are spending time with....
You can do this. Don't worry about hubby's attitude about the hot stones massage course - he is just feeling precious and worried that you will expect him to put the pinny on... Give him time and show him the progress you are making and he might change his mind.
Have a great evening and you are doing fantastic.

So glad i'm not the only one who messes up the ynab every now and then
! I had a discrepancy of £30 the other day, couldn't find it no matter how hard I looked so I just logged it as cash taken out
is that cheating?
Playground politics....hmm....my dd has a similar friend with a similar mum to what you describe. She had posted many statuses about mums and their "feral/disobedient/awful kids" (take your pick) ...and many a time they were blatantly about me and my DD. Anyhow, I had enough and spoke to her one day in the playground in front of her cronies and asked why, if she had a problem, did she not just come to me and speak to me rather than putting it all over FB. She denied it was about me & my dd even though it obviously was about us and tried to say it was about a mutual friend. You should have seen "mutual friends" face ...she was stood directly behind her :rotfl: I recently deleted this spiteful woman from my friend's list. she hasn't asked why, if she does I will not hesitate to tell her I reserve my FB for real friendsI kept her on for far too long for fear of offending and finally had enough! I feel so much better for it and after speaking to a few friends they've told me she's moved on several times from picking on me & my dd to a fair few others! Some people have nothing better to do!

Hi Mags
I look forward to them being in High School to avoid all the drama, although I don't really want them to grow up. they are a lovely age right now (10 & 7). Ds is already questioning Father Christmas so worry that the magic of childhood will soon be history.. Although he was quite happy to wait for the tooth fairy the other night, so fingers crossed I have a few years left
You are right about hubby, he is quite old fashioned as likes the thought of me here gardening all day whilst washing socks & cooking dinner. I will love this next year, but with the pressure of debt I would just really like some of my own income.
He doesn't seem to understand thoughdebtfreewannabe321 wrote: »So glad i'm not the only one who messes up the ynab every now and then! I had a discrepancy of £30 the other day, couldn't find it no matter how hard I looked so I just logged it as cash taken out

Hi DFW,
I have done that with YNAB sometimes, I just Reconcile and let it do an adjustment for the missing money. I try to balance YNAB against my online banking every morning to avoid this happening but sometimes life is too busy and I miss a few days. That is when I always seem to muck it up.
Your story sounds just like mine, this woman is part of a like gang that seem to like running people down. I think I have got it to a good place now, where we are on speaking terms, so the children can play and meet up, but I am not in her gang where I have to tolerate nastiness about other people and also get associated with them.
Think I would sooner be back in school, I don't remember this much hassle back then. Mothers are sooo much worse than children

Morning all.
Its abit boring financially at the moment. Not much to report.
Hubbys wages should go in this weekend. This wage is classed as October Week 1, as the money needs to be in the week before to cover the first week of Octobers bills. With my YNAB muck up, I am finishing September in a minus figure, somewhere around the £200 mark because of my account muck up.
This is covered in the bank ok because of my small amount of savings, but I need to make that back up during October otherwise I will be on a slippery slope.
Hubby is due in an extra wage of about £400 in a week or so, but will put that into savings, as the Birthdays & Christmas pots are looking abit lower than they should be. Really want to make sure I am in a good position for Christmas.
I have had more years than I can remember where there is nothing saved for Christmas and everything had to come off the catalogue or onto Credit cards.
I refuse to be in that situation this year, as I love Christmas, but the past few years I have begun to hate and resent it for the financial mess I always get us into just to give the children a good Christmas.
Dd's birthday is also on the 14th December so its a double whammy if I'm not organised.
Ok going to empty the dishwasher and then go a pick the Crab apples off the tree. The children and I love Crab apple & mint jelly with our Sunday roasts, so will make another batch of that.
Speak to you later xxx0
