Possible theft of delivery parcel

7 days ago I should of received my screwfix order, via next day delivery. After it being a day late I rang parcel force to see where it was where they said it had already been delivered and signed for by myself, even though I was at work all day????!!!! The delivery driver as been questioned and has now changed his story to 'I left with a neighbour'. Is this a case for te police, screwfix seem to be taking forever to sort

This is going to be hard to get your head round:

Your contract is with Screwfix, if they have used an substandard delivery agent that is not your problem.
They will let you chase them all day long, top and bottom is you did not employ them, they did, they are their agents, you have no contract with them so it is not your problem.

Contact screwfix with the bad news, they have failed to deliver and as a MSE'er you will have most likely used a credit card or chargecard with protection so if they refuse to complete the transaction by delivering to you, contact the card company for a charge back.
Now look for that bat, and get ready to hit the ball back in to their court first thing tomorrow .

There are well aware that I'M contracted through them and its for them to deal with, each day there is no progress just the usual 'we're waiting for parcel force to explain their last steps etc'. Shocking customer service
