Hi, I'm looking for secondhand 10" android tablet. Use will be 80% web browsing and 20% apps etc. I am NOT a gamer.
Looking for the best of last year so I can buy quality as cheaply as possible. My son has a Nexus 7" and although it seems fine its too small for me. I'm happy to go for something other (though I don't care either way) than a Samsung if I can get a good deal.
Second hand I want to pay no more than £125-ish but would stretch to £150 for a top spec, mint offer.
Could someone give me a few models I should be searching for on the classified here and ebay etc..............thanks

Why 2nd hand? Can get decent 10" tabs brand new in your price range

£119 with the code. Not as quick as a nexus but more than adequate for web browsing and films etc0 -
Yeah would avoid a 2nd hand tablet, don't know how it has been used, if hardly used then yeah great, but is used constantly for the past year, the battery won't be very good.
Currys & maplin both do a 10.1" tablet for £170, yes bit more than you posted, but full 12 month warranty.
Argos do a 10.1 for £150.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

I thought about this and my leaning towards a used tablet was I might be able to get a really top spec and brand from last year at the same price as a new adequate but average new tab today. I bit like, to use cars as an example, preferring a 2 yr-old BMW or Merc compared to a new Insignia or Ford Focus at the same price.
But the idea of a new tablet with guarantee etc is worth considering as well so thanks for pointing this out to me........:)“Having, first, gained all you can, and, secondly saved all you can, then give all you can"....John Wesley

good overall review but the Apple Air is toooooooo expensive for me and the Nexus 7 is just a "7" and not "10". Interesting to hear the views though..............thanks“Having, first, gained all you can, and, secondly saved all you can, then give all you can"....John Wesley
