I find the company coverup nearly as disgusting as the misappropriation of money.

Do we know if (a) AB kept their job and (B) were they paid while on suspension?

If you go here: http://forms.employmenttribunalsni.co.uk/OITFET_IWS/DecisionSearch.aspx and search for 2013 in the case year you can read more in depth about it. It can take several attempts to load though so be patient.

It's an interesting read which includes the shaming of "Mr K" the "Head of Banking Operations" on page 10, point 36 as:
"We found Mr K to be a wholly unconvincing witness whose evidence was at times evasive and disingenuous. At times, he contradicted himself in his evidence and he also contradicted the evidence of several of the respondent’s other witnesses in an apparent effort to distance himself, and other senior managers from key decisions."

How long will it take before folk in Northern Ireland switch banks? Just because your Mum opened a Henry Hippo account when you were 3 in the 70s doesn't mean you need to stay with them forever! This isn't the 70s. Or 80s. Or even 90s for goodness sake. Switch now. It's so easy. You do nothing. Your new bank will do EVERYTHING you need in 7 days. I went to First Direct, best move I ever made. The Ulster bank is laughing at you!

There's a whole list of the top performing banks on Martin's main banking page.

OMG you remember Henry Hippo! :rotfl:

I do too.

Police called in 18 months after the event which they tried to keep quiet http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-25463130
Makes you wonder what else has been covered up.

Funny - they still haven't named the offender.

They won't as they got a perm protection order as per the tribunal rulings that prevents the names being released.
