i have debts that are more than 10 years old

i have debts that are more than 10 years old i have not had any contact with the bank and have not paid anything towards the debt? or acknowledge the debt in writing to the creditor or a debt collector in all this time
but i would now like to look at my Credit Report

Any debts over 6 years with no payment or acknowledgment would be Statute Barred, depending what sort of debts we are talking about.

    See here

In any case, you are free to check your credit file.

I'd try Noddle, it's free. However do also check Equifax and Experian.

Most likely any defaults will have dropped off reports by now.

Every debt you mentioned is now statute barred and will have fallen off your credit files.

Also worth noting, while any record of the said debts may have fallen off your file, there is a chance that you would still receive communication from any collection agencies who are attempting to recover the debts.

Surely you would know if you've been in court?

Re: Noddle - I've heard that one of the reasons that it is free is that they can pass on details to credit collection agencies, that a debtor is now active, and their current details  Not sure how true that is.
    Great tool nonetheless.
