Presumably because they're 'not for profit'.
Didn't do much for the Co-Op though, did it?

"The catch is that they offer awful service and virtually no customer service.

Check out the Spark feedback thread on this site.

A tariff they offered me seemed to be entirely fictional."

I can't vouch for the last bit but so far as I can tell there is literally one guy running the whole thing. At least thats the way it seems when you try to contact them.

Also they have the objection process backwards. If someone tries to leave they object to 'prompt the person to contact them with a reading in order that they can bill them'. They are only supposed to object for an aged balance...
  • Please avoid Spark Energy at all Costs. Even if you are a tenant you do not have to be with this company, they are expensive, customer service is poor & their billing is erratic.

You appear to be a very upset competitor.

Not only bouncing an old thread, but Spark are coming out really cheap for me when consulting a comparison site. :)

We thought they looked cheap but decided to steer clear after reading feedback about problems getting replies and supposed diffculties switching from them to other suppliers. Surprised you didn't se the bit in Martin's energy section about the lack of feedback as its a new company. that's what prompted me to search.

Wouldn't think of switching to them till I get better news. Have you time to change your mind?
