    Oh dear

Seems some serious lack of humour on MSE today!

I'll have to be more subtle next time (or just not bother!)

Probably the latter, and yes, I am having a bad day, so sorry.

The initial subject is enough to send panic amongst some of us.

Wowzer - we're doomed then if city workers (half) read posts on this forum and make decisions based upon them.

You could be right though as the markets dont seem to know what they are doing currently.

This thread might tip them over the edge to 7000 (or 3000)!

What worries me more is the change in sizes - I've kin who, while not utterly blind, are a bit hazy & I know they use dimension as a clue. Whilst it's just a fiver in polymer, I think they'll cope, but whether they'll have to stop & check their change more carefully I don't know.

Then all the refitting cash machines - why? We've a size - we're engineered for it, why replace what (ought to) work? Unless polymer works differently in cash machines.
