Budgeting for clothes etc

Options
Can anyone help I was recently talking to a friend about a budgeting form she had filled in with a debt company. She was told that you need to write down a certain amount for childrens clothes, school trips etc, but cannot remember what it was. Im trying to fill in a budgeting form and wondered if anybody had heard of this or what they budgeted roughly as my costs for these are always changing?

Nobody can tell you YOUR budget for clothes ..... we don't know where you shop to start with !

Perhaps you could add up all the money that has been spent on clothes through out the year and divide it by 12, so you can get a monthly average.

You might want to try posting your question on the Debt Free Wanabee board on here where people will probably be more familiar with this and better able to help.

The starting point is to remember how much you paid on these things last year... and to think about whether anything different will occur this year.

You can't tell, but you can guess based on what's happened in the past.
