Premier Park Ltd

In May myself and 12 other muscicians were told to park in Morrisons carpark, next to a venue that we were performing a charity music festival for. It was a sunday and the venue told us they had always used that carpark as an overflow when the shop was shut. All of us got £50 parking fines through the post (small camera on wall clocked the entry and exit time but none of us saw the camera) I went back to the carpark and there are signs posted at knee height on the wall around the carpark but these were blocked by the vehicles! We were told to ignore the fines as the venue would speak to Morrisons, as when Morrisons was being constructed the construction vehicles had used the venue car park. All our fines have now reached the £150 and we are all being threatened with court costs and admin fees. Morrisons say the carpark is nothing to do with them, so can do nothing. The total amount of fine will exceed the money we raised for charity on that day if we do all have to pay. Will Premier Park take us all to court?

    1. Read the NEWBIES sticky thread (referenced in my signature below).

    2. Premier Park Ltd have issued court papers 35 times in total in the year 01/10/12 to 30/09/13 (source - .doc file) so the chances of any of you being pursued through the courts is small.

(Note: issue of court papers and actual pursuance of claim are not necessarily the same thing).

Have you complained to the Morrisons head office? Have you gone to the press about this? They would be interested in this I think
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
