I've just completed on the house and would like to set about telling everyone change of address.
Just trying to find a simple Excel spreadsheet with a comprehensive list of people to tell so they can be ticked off but surprisingly can't find one.
Is there one tucked away somewhere on this site or on the internet?

Not too many places had the address I just moved from but the ones I can remember having to change off the top of my head are:
- Water supplier
- Gas/electric supplier
- Cable/satellite TV company
- TV license
- Banks
- Insurance company
- Employer
- Some companies I had signed up to for reward card schemes
- Some websites I order from regularly0 -
On top of the ones already mentioned I can think of:
Credit card companies
mobile phone
car insurance
driving licence
V5 for cars
pension scheme
Savings/ISA companies
doctor
dentist
Child benefit office
electoral register
council tax0 -

best thing i did is set up redirection with royal mail, then this gives you a few months/years to deal with it all.
The only letters that wont be redirected as far as i know is anything from the benefits agency, child benefit and the like.0 -
I'm sure different people have different lists? It would be difficult having a standard one...
I just went thought my wallet first and notified everyone with a card I had (banks, clubcard, license). Then sat doing everything off the top of my head, making a note of each. And then used Royal Mail's redirection to catch anything I forgot about.0 -
Will be setting up a redirect for sure.
