i had a business account with Hsbc,
about 4 mths ago i said i don t need an authorised overdraft as it cost 100 pound and i had already a new business account with coop,
3 times they didn t let it happen that i go overdraft
3 weeks ago i asked coop to close the hsbc business acount and refer direct debit etc to coop
i felt there were enough funds in the account to do this
but to my horror i found out 4 days ago i was 5.88 overdrawn,i tried to to put 10 pounds in was rejected
today lady in bank tells me i accumulated 96 pound in charges
8 ound a day
what can i do?

Do you mean that on three occasions, you made transactions that took you overdrawn?

Co-op have no ability to close an account of another bank. They can cancel standing orders and direct debits on their own accounts though.
    what can i do?

Find out what transactions took you overdrawn. Many banks will refund on first time errors. However, they usually do not on repeats. If the transaction was yours then it is for you to control your spending. However, if the transaction is one that should have been cancelled and wasnt then you complain about that.

I apologise in advance if I misunderstand you.

I gather you currently have an HSBC business account that you no longer need because you have opened a Co-op business account. You therefore wish to close the HSBC account.

My advice would be to contact HSBC and make your request for closure to them. If the account is currently in the red, you will need to pay whatever is owed in order for HSBC to close the account.

I'm a little confused as to why you say HSBC refused to accept the £10 you attempted to pay into the account. Please explain why they refused this credit. If you don't understand why, ask HSBC to explain why they refused.

If there is anything you don't understand when you contact HSBC, then ask them to explain. If you are unhappy with the explanation, you can raise a complaint.

I would urge you to act promptly as charges will continue to accrue for as long as the HSBC business account remains open.
