Wireless mouse for laptop - any difference?0

Possibly a stupid question, but SIL wants one for her laptop. So is there anything that needs to be different to a wireless mouse for a laptop than for an ordinary PC? Suppose I'm thinking of ease of use as much as anything.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

My wife and I use this wireless mouse with our laptops. Small enough to be easily portable ... the USB radio dongle is tiny so can be left plugged in ... and they simply work well. They rely on an AA battery for power and there's an on/off switch on the base to preserve battery power. Mine's nearly a year old and still on the original Duracell.

That's the one I got a couple of weeks ago for my laptop only I got Dahlia Pink. Went for that colour because it was the cheapest.

I use a Mofii wireless mouse and it does not even have a power switch. Have not had to put new batteries in since acquiring it about a year ago, the new low power standby tech that turns it on when used really seems to work. Also the little 'dongle' to plug into the laptop does not stick out nearly so much as a real usb plug on a wired mouse, that's a plus.0

+1 for the nano adapter, that can be left in when packed away etc and will not get caught like a larger one will.0
