Cancel Gas/Electric Moving Abroad Sainsbury Fixed Term? Problem?

Hi,
I hope you can help.
I am moving to the USA circa end of March 2014, so I wanted to cancel my current deal with Sainsburys Energy as I will be leaving the house I am renting.
The end of the contract is technically July 2014 as it is a fixed-term deal. I know that I would be charged a cancellation fee if I switched providers, but am I likely to be charged a fee if I simply cancel due to moving abroad?
Has anyone had any experience with this or could advise on the best way forward?
