I had 2 tickets from excel in feb and may, I ignored these as advised on here, I have just this second received a phone call to say they need payment (as I have also ignored letters after the initial ones) if not they will be taking further action?? I was aware after reading various posts on here they couldn't do much?
The lady told me my reg but couldn't tell me an of the car make/model
Please help me? I am worried now?
Thanks

In February you may have been advised to ignore it, but not if you'd posted in May. This advice changed in the Spring and we are winning every case at POPLA appeal now (too late for you to do this now). Presumably it was Roxburghe or Newlyn debt collectors who rang you, so why not Google 'Roxburghe phone calls' to see all the times these calls have been mentioned in forums over the years? They are merely pen-pushers in a call centre and are easy to tell to get lost - with the right words.
And please read the sticky threads again because you missed a trick with these tickets and seem not to have read the current advice even now you have come and posted here. There is soooo much info on here, surprised you missed it when you read the stickies at the top of the forum, before posting.
If you have reason to complain to the Peel Centre Management (such as, if accused of 'overstay' but had a disabled, elderly, infirm or pregnant passenger with you) then complain as per the 'successful complaints about PPCs' sticky thread. Tons of info there including the Peel Centre email address.
Either way, read the debt collectors stuff in the 'NEWBIES READ THIS FIRST!' sticky. We have far too many cases to help people win at appeal this year, to keep replying from scratch every time to the same stuff about debt collectors. Your options are spelt out in those two sticky threads and you should be proactive, complaining and responding IMHO. If you end up with a small claim please don't ignore that (Excel try a few, but not many)!
P.S. Hang on...I have just seen your original thread in June:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4674635
...where you said both tickets were from February. Surely you didn't get a new one in May/June and yet didn't appeal it despite our advice in that thread telling you things had changed...presumably you would have been in time to appeal the May ticket at that time?! Why are you now posting saying you are confused - when we told you the score in June? If it's just the phone call which rattled you now, please Google ''Roxburghe phone calls'' EVEN IF it was a different debt collector (the advice to tell them the debt is denied & disputed would apply to any debt collector in this situation with a fake PCN). And complain if you have grounds, and consider the advice in the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
