Long Term Illness: help.

Dear All,
A couple of years ago I had to leave my full time employment due to illness. It wasn't redundancy as such but I was invited to consider leaving after the company looked after me while ill for 12 months. I was diagnosed with ME. I spent the last 2 years focusing on getting better. There has been some progress but it is slow. My situation today is: I can't get employed because of the limitations due my health, I don't get disability benefits because I'm not disabled enough! I don't own a home and pay rent. I have £30,000 savings left. I have an MEng in Environmental Engineering. I wish to start self-employment teaching gentle Yoga to people with ME, teach improvisation music.
I try to work out what would be a sensible way forward for me. I'm concerned I'm going to use up all my savings. I keep putting off starting self-employment because I try part-time jobs which I can't do due to health. I currently work as housekeeper in big property so in exchange for work I get free accommodation. But I may have to leave as the demands (20 hours per week) of physical work (which is not very nourishing...) exhausts me.
I go around in circles, while using up my savings.
I'd like to elaborate a sensible plan and go with it so in a few years time I may get somewhere. Any advice? Many thanks.
