Changing Estate Agents - should we avoid the agents of our buyers?

We've been unhappy with our estate agents and were about to change agents when we got an offer that we accepted.
Then a couple of days before exchanging our sale fell through (our buyers lost their buyers).
Our buyers still want to buy our house but are not in a position to proceed.
They've changed agents (just before we planned to) and have signed up with the agents we planned to use.
If we signed up with the same agents would there be a conflict of interest? (Since out sale if it happens with them would go via the original agents).

    Are you talking about estate agents or solicitors?

    There is no conflict of interest if both people sell through the same estate agents.

    If both the seller and buyer want to use the same solicitors however then they both have to be established clients of the firm otherwise you need to use different ones.

    The conflict is this: the new agent can only get commission on your house, OP, if they lose the sale to your buyer. It is in their interests to kick the sale of yours into the long grass - otherwise your buyers will not have a house to move to, so they lose the commission on that house.
    You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
