terrible service from Bentley Photographic

Hi,

I'd order two sets of my sons school photos from Bentley photographic costing almost £50.00. When they finally arrived I noticed that they had printed the same photo.

I telephoned Bentley to rectify the problem to be told by the woman on the phone that it was actually my fault that I'd ordered the same photo online even though I hadn't. After not getting anywhere with her I asked to be put through to the manager who was busy but would call me back. The manager called me back I explained to her what had happened still getting nowhere I offered to pay for postage to send a set back to be replaced for the photo required. This was still out of the question she then went on to tell me that if I wanted the extra set I would have to pay for them at half price to "cover" costs. I then went on to tell her that I'm a qualified photographer so I know that printing six photographs wouldn't cost £12.50.

I ordered two of the most expensive sets you would have thought some bright spark would have realised packing them that why would I need two copyright cd's for the same photo!

So I'm still not getting anywhere and £25 out of pocket. Has anyone else had a similar experience wiyh Bentley photographic and where do I go from here?

    As far as I knew that I'd ordered difference ones. It should be on my email somewhere. You would think they would offer more customer service than that though.

    Legally that doesnt matter though.

    You need to prove that you ordered different items but received the same one twice.

    I would think you would want to check before going any further.

    Have you considered expressing your satisfaction to the school? If they get enough annoyed parents they may switch to one of the others and Bentley will know this.

    Are you really saying you haven't checked to see if perhaps it is you that has made the mistake?

    Why might you want two?
    To pass the second one to a relative is an understandable possibility.

    Check the order confirmation to see who made the mistake... If it confirms they made the mistake then forward the email to them. If you made the mistake then take them up on their offer
