Mini robosapien at argos cheaper if you buy more!

I was looking for gifts for my daughters friends and came across this mini robosapien, was £12 now £5 great I thought and added two to my basket, it came to £3.82 added one more it came to £8.93 added another it came to £7.64, seems there was an offer of buy one get one half price earlier that hadn't been taken off. I printed off the comfirmation screen and took it to argos where after a bit of faffing about trying to get it right, no arguing the case mind, I got them, saved myself about £20! :DI don't think there is many left but well worth a try, great bargain!

I think it is in the special offers, but just type v2 from the homepage, it's the robot one

Fantastic, thanks, just managed to get 2 from Peterborough, but have the feeling that was the last of them as they showed no stock when I tried to get 4 (just too greedy I guess!!)

Mind you when you collect in store they may charge the correct price.

Ok, i've been having problems getting these from stores for £3.82 - seems they won't honor the price
However i noticed this morning that wording has been added to the list page stating "Buy Mini V2 or Mini Reptile and get the cheapest half price."

The main product page still states you have to buy one of each - but i've reserved 2 and printed my reservation and also screen printed the "or" statement - thus if i don't get 2 for £3.82, I'll certainly fight to get 2 for £7.66 which is still a fantastic bargain.

BTW Shouldn't this be in the Argos sub-section?

When I went in to collect these the till charged the wrong price but when I showed them the price on my confirmation they checked it on the internet out the back and as they were the same they honoured it for me, I think they had to overide it on the till though. They never argued the difference in price, just had to work out how to get it the same!

Thats what happened to me a few days ago, though with a different result - they said it was obviously an error and wouldn't honor it :mad:

Though i'm happy to report i've just come back from a different store - handed over print out of reservation - SA said that would be £10.22 - I replied no there's a special offer and pointed out on the reservation it's £3.28 for two. SA went and got till keys and override it without any checks - fantastic result.
I must say, for a mini robot - these are surprisingly larger than i thought.
Will keep my reciept as proof of the offer incase i find anymore - will make good Christmas presents :j
