Problem with Sky Plus box recording.

We are having a problem with our Sky box. We have only had it for a few months and it has been working normally until recently.
Normally I can record one channel and watch another at the same time.
Now at the moment this is not possible. As soon as I set it to record from a certain channel it will record the channel, but, if I try to turn over to watch another channel whilst it is recording every other channel comes up as 'signal not available'.
Its only recently started to do this. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Quad lnb loose on your dish?0

Are both cables secure at both ends (i.e. in the back of the Sky box and the dish)?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -

In either case, if you've only had it installed for a few months phone Sky CS and let them sort it out.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

When I've had problems with recording(not this exact one) I find switching the box off, waiting a few minutes and then rebooting has (fingers crossed) always resolved the problem.0

Have you gone into the services menu and checked that both signals are ok, you could try switching off and on again, remove and replace your card or do a software download by holding the backup button, until the front lights come on, when you switch the box back on.0

Don't touch the live connections. You could cause internal damage if you short out the LNB supply*. Unplug from mains then unscrew LNB connections at the rear and swap them over.
Plug back in, reboot, and see if that makes a difference.
*In theory it self-protects but don't bet on it!0
