Tesco points if "upgrade" to Finest Mastercard

Hi
I have had a Tesco Credit card for years, but am now confused about how many points I get when I use it in Tescos and elsewhere.
I know the points halved last year for new applicants, but mine is definately and older card.
I am confused because I am now being offered an upgrade to Finest (if I don't refuse it)
The Finest card says if I spend -
£2 at Tescos = 3 points
£2 elsewhere = 1 point
I thought (but could be wrong) that I am getting
£2 at Tescos = 4 points, ie 2 for shopping, 2 for card
£2 elsewhere = 2 points
Can anyone help please ?

I would ask on the tesco clubard thread in shop but don't drop. they are experts on all things points related!

AFAIK, it has always been:
£2 at Tesco: 3 points (2 for clubcard, 1 for credit card)
£2 elsewhere: 1 point

The Finest card also offers:
£2 at tesco.com: 4 points (2 for clubcard, 2 for credit card)

you get 1 point for every £2 you spend on your card. If you spend £2 in a different shop using your card you will get 1 point.
If you spend £2 in tesco you will get 1 point for using your credit card and your normal 2 points. As far as I know you don't get any extra for the finest card.

Mine is definitely £4 at Tesco: 5 points ONLY
4 for clubcard and only 1 for credit card...:eek:

Mine is also older one. About a year.
