My friend had all this nonsense all over his laptop, made it crawl along. There were many things installed alongside such as Yentoo(?) Delta Search, a whole bunch of stuff like that. If you post a HijackThis log here, you can receive specific help to clean up your computer.
Also note these adware programs change your start page in all browsers and other such effects...
Running MBAM will also help a lot! (hint: type "get MBAM" into google)Friendly greeting!0 -

Nothing leaping out at me but closed is your man for this (if he's allowed to post these days?)
You could bin the BingBar.
Did you run MalwareBytes?
You may also want to install Ccleaner, that's jolly good at cleaning up your rubbish and your registry.Friendly greeting!0 -
HiJackThis doesn't show chrome related data, only IE.

yes l ran malwarebytes and it found 5 threats that superantispyware didn't find0 -

l got rid of chrome because it brought up the mystart search bar and l couldn't access chrome at all, lm just worried mystart is hiding somewhere0 -
It doesn't appear to be hiding anywhere.
If your reinstall Chrome and its still the start page:
click on the 3 horizontal bars in top right corner to bring up settings.
you can shange your start page then back to whatever page you want (click line to see what start page is set to, if any, on the option there)
you can manage search engines / omnibox by removing references to search engines you dont want, like mystart.
this should get rid of it and your chrome experience will be normal again.
just be careful what you click on in future!Friendly greeting!0 -

thank you, will do0 -
What's to be worried about? It's only a toolbar.
Incredibar is browser toolbar that installs to all of major Internet browsers and redirects random computer systems to mystart.incredibar dot com. It badly complicates your activities on the Internet by redirecting your search results and giving you different information that you were actually looking for. It can also add some websites to your bookmark list that you never even thought of adding there. On low memory conditions, it will slow your PC as well. Changing browser settings and redirecting searches classifies Incredibar as browser hijacker0
