Wrong printer supplied, better or worse

Needed a cheap all in one printer, wireless.
Ordered from Argos's clearance outlet, they have a shop on ebay.

Ordered from add an Epson XP202, received an XP215.

Both are logically older models hence being in clearance, but have we received a better or worse model? Certainly looking at the limited info I have found it would seem the supplied item has a lower resolution than that ordered.

Am waiting for their reply at present so any info would be great, keep or return is the question;);)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Specwise there's nothing in it ... scan and print resolution is the same.
The XP-215 has a smaller capacity paper tray - 50 sheets rather than 100

    Keep the 215, it's 13 more than the 202

Cheers, just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed a glaring discrepancy.

No explanation with the order and they don't show the 215 on the web, just the 202, so I assume it's simply a mistake not a substitution.
As said I had already reported this to them, may just get something:money:out of it.

  • I ordered an Epson 305 Printer cost £44.99 a couple of weeks ago for collection, when I paid and collected they handed me an Epson XP312 Printer, I think it is a better printer but even so they shouldn't replace without informing the consumer, what if they start substituting with lesser value goods???

This was why I asked, no indication of a substitution.;)
