Laptop without windows tax

Does anybody know of a reputable online retailer in the UK that does laptops without Windows? I would like to upgrade my present laptop but as a Linux user I don't need or really want to buy Windows. The lack of choice is really frustrating.

Novatech offer laptops without operating system:

They're a reasonable size and they've been on the for a decent amount of time.

Dell have a non-Windows version of the XPS 13:

Although the spec is fixed, it's not great value for money but I don't think they offer any other machines at the moment without Windows.

Most of big laptop makers get copies of windows very cheaply, so there isn't really much of a premium having it included.

wouldn't it be better to pick a laptop based on spec, rather than OS?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, the Guardian article is making me think of a Lenovo Ideapad, although it comes with windows they seem to be a popular as Linux machines.
