Now to help you buy the right thing, the girls at Lynx HQ have picked 12 gifts they’d love to receive.

Each gift is available online. And just for fun, each gift is up for grabs too. (For your girl, obviously.)

For your chance to win, tweet @Lynxeffect including #Lynxsavesxmas with your worst gifting experience; the worst present you have got someone, their reaction, or any rubbish idea you have for this year. The most hilariously bad (the person most in need) will win a helping hand from Lynx and we will send you one of the 12 gifts on our recommendations list.

LYNX 12 GIFTS OF CHRISTMAS COMP
1) This prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. On the 13th 16th 17th 18th 19th 20th of December we will be picking two winners who have told us the worst present they have bought for a girlfriend.
2) To enter, tweet the worst gift you have ever given a girl including the @LynxEffect twitter handle and the hash tag (if all elements of the Tweet are not included the entry will not be valid.) An example tweet would be ‘a cheeseburger @LynxEffect #LynxSavesXmas’.
3) The winners will be chosen based on the originality of their response by an independent adjudicator from all valid entries.
4) No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

6) The competition is open for submissions within the following times:
a. Prize Draw 1: 13th December from 13:00 until 16:00;
