Question about Expedia

Hi there


I was just wondering whether anyone knew if there's a particular time during the day when its best to book with Expedia?


I was looking for holidays to Venice and had a really good deal with a hotel at £416 per person. within a few hours it had shot up to £560 per person. It seems to have happened a few times over the last week. Prices seem to go up and down?

When are you looking to fly?

The flight sales start around December 26th we got a great deal with BA holidays last year to Venice.

There isn't. If you see a price you like, book and don't look back.

Thanks for your replies. Looks as though I've perhaps just missed a good price. Bit gutting but suppose thats the way of it. To answer claire16c we are looking to fly July and book the Garden Hilton Hotel in Venice for 10 days. We'll be booking in the next week or so.

Try clearing your cookies and re-running the quote. It might not work, but it has been known to bring the price down.

If you're not going until July definitely wait til the sales start end of next week then.

I found the prices between BA holidays & Expedia pretty similar last year apart from the odd hotel or two where one would have it cheaper.

Do you have friends there or particular reason for spending the whole time there , you could always visit another city too? Just as 10 days will be a long time in Venice although I guess it will be hot then so you could have a few sunbathing days which wasn't an option at the time of year we went
