Hi,
I unfortunately received a caution recently, about some silly things that I have done. Do i need to inform my current employer-an investment bank, and do I need to update FSA about this?
many thanks for your help

What sort of caution are we talking about? From Mum or the Police? and for what concerning. You're being a little vague which I can understand.0

What does your employment contract require?0

Are you a member of a union? I'm wondering if they perhaps could give you advice without the need to alert your employers if it's really not needed.
It's just an idea I'm tossing out there. Please correct me anyone if you don't think it's appropriate0 -
FSA? If you work in an investment bank, you really should know they don't exist any more.
I would imagine you would need to report it if it involved a police caution to you boss. They may then refer it upwards if you are a regulated person.0 -
It depends on the control functions you hold on the FCA register and your employer requirements.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
