Yodel lost my sports direct order what to do now?

Hi I placed an order with nufc direct on the 7th December yodel were supposed to deliver on the 10th however they claim that the goods were stolen along with the couriers van at some point on the 10th. They also claim that they contacted nufc and told them. I emailed nufc through their on line contact form several times and have received no reply. Any suggestions as how to get hold of them I can't find a phone number. Also do you think it would be reasonable to demand my delivery charge back?
Thanks
Thanks

If you still want the order, you'll need to let them know to send out a replacement.
More likely, tell them you want to cancel the order for a full refund. Then wait for it - it may be some time, especially at this time of year - and buy elsewhere.
There is a postal address on their site, if you want to go the whole hog you could write.0 -
Yes, it would be perfectly reasonable to get a full refund since they have breached the contract. In any case you can cancel the order under the Distance Selling Regulations, and they have to refund you in full including the delivery charge.0

It's Sports Direct you are contacting not NUFC. NUFC the club have nothing to do with NUFC Direct (bizarre yes). It's owned by Sports Direct whose online customer service phone number is 0845 1299 230
Good luck0 -
Yodel delivered my order from Sportsdirect yesterday and finding no-one in my house put it in my neighbours recycled bin and put the card through their letterbox . Good job they weren't on holiday0

Thank you that was what I was after. I'll give them a ring after 9. I still want the goods as they are presents and I can't get them elsewhere but I think it's only fair that they should refund me the cost of the delivery, I paid £4.99 for 3-5 days delivery it's been ten days so far. It's Sports Direct you are contacting not NUFC. You may find it easier to place a new order and cancel the existing one.
Sports Direct aren't known for their customer service. There's a good chance you'll still be trying to sort out the problems well after Christmas.0 -
What is wrong with these people makes you want to scream. I phoned the number and spoke to someone no apology at all, she said it was my fault for not asking them to resend the goods when I told her that I had emailed several times she said that it can take upto 7 days to respond to emails. She said she would resend the order, so I said I wasn't happy about the delivery charge as they did not deliver in time so she said she would refund the delivery charge and send email confirmation that the goods were being resent. Great I'm now happy that this matter has been resolved. Just checked my emails and I've had email to say the order has been cancelled and refunded GRRR.
I think I'll leave it at that I did want the items for presents for hubby but it's just not worth the hassle dealing with these people.Crazy clothes challenge 2012 £105.50/£480 :jItems removed from wardrobe 16

Sorry to hear about your plight, but this thread made me thought of company combinations made in hell.
The combination of sports direct and their delivery company being Yodel seems to fit the bill nicely.0 -
Well it is the profit from Sport Direct that allowed Mike Ashley to buy NUFC and spend money buying good players like Cabaye and Tiote, so don't get too upset with them. I though all NUFC fans watched games bare chested anyway (the men at least
