Charge Notice from Total Parking Solutions Ltd

My daughter has received a Charge Notice following receipt of a ticket from TPS on her college car park. She has no permit and parked there because she was late for college.

Do TPS do court, does anyone know?

It's been a while since we've had one of these (despite me trying to get a PE one at our local Aldi recently).

Many thanks.

  • Its not worth risk

Send basic appeal to TPS, when it gets rejected come back here to do a winning Popla appeal

  • I also have a PCN from TPS. I've had the basic appeal rejected and about to do a POPLA appeal. I guess I just need some reassurance that if the POPLA fails, then TPS are highly unlikely to continue with court action. Anyone been in this boat please??

No because we never fail at POPLA against a firm where they are alleging 'breach of terms' or 'failure to comply' in their signage and Parking Notice.

NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? EVEN AN OLD ONE? ***READ THIS FIRST*** Thankyou!

''How to win at POPLA'' is in a link there in that sticky thread which was right there under your nose all the time, at the top of the forum, chemical sister. If you want to draft a POPLA appeal from the examples you will find on that sticky thread, then please do so in your own new thread when you are ready.

@sarahg1969, hello again! You should find all you need to do a first appeal and then a winning POPLA appeal, in that sticky.

Please don't lose sight of that POPLA deadline, once it's gone, that's it, no going back, and you've lost your best ever chance to get rid of this.

    Update:

My daughter's appeals on two tickets were successful.

I helped her friend appeal six tickets. Immediately afterwards, she paid all six!! However, for some reason, the've written to her, allowing her appeal and refunding her.

Wow! The friend PAID SIX of them?! She has surely learnt not to do that again, especially with your expert help on tap!

I'm currently assisting the girl's mum with a PE appeal, too. She's just had a reminder from them. Seems that strangely, they did not receive her hand-delivered appeal.

If she pays PE, I WILL be cross!
