Please Help

Dear all,

I know you must be bored of reading the same thing over and over but now im a little concerned.

My mum and I went shopping in September. Car park is free for 4 hours. We got back in time but for some reason the car park was packed and cars were queuing to leave. By the time we got out of the car park we were over the four hours.

We since received a letter from Euro Car Parks Ltd. I came on this website and all I could see were threads advising to ignore them. Every time we have received another letter I come back on here to check. Today we receive a letter (we are now on the 5th, Debt Recovery Plus letters) and so I came on here to read the threads.

I now see that the prominent advice is not to ignore the letters. Im now worried as my mum is the one getting the letters as she's the keeper and I told her not to worry.

I know Coupon_Mad must be going ape reading this but really what I need is a step by step list of what I need to do. Ive read and re-read some of the advice but im just not getting it and I am finding it difficult to understand.

Thanks in advance for anyones help

Sophia

  • You dont need to do anything at the moment as you are far to far down the line to do anything.

You only need to come back should you by any remote chance receive genuine court papers, or a letter before action

So your step by step list is

    Dont worry
Do nothing, unless real court papers, or letter before action
    Come back if concerned

Although I agree with KIFL, there is an alternative approach.

If you were driving and your mother wrote to them giving up your name and address as driver, then that may reset the POPLA appeal time clock.

Good point, that would certainly work.

Surprised, maybe, seeing as there is a step by step list in the ''Newbies'' sticky thread. One of the first links I give you is Umkomaas' ''walk through the process''.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
