Parking eye ticket

I have recently received a parking fine notification from parking eye indicating from the pictures of my car and reg that I over stayed my time at a local lake, I only received this 2days before the 14 day early payment was due as it is a company car it it had taken them a while to pass this on.
I purchased a ticket for the machine for our time there and on our return we got caught out by the weather and had to take shelter with our children putting us 3/4 hour late from the expired displayed time.
Where do I stand on this? I have gone on line and appealed via parking eyes web site but I have had no reply from them as yet!

Start here. You have already made your first mistake by appealing without referencing here first.
Your appeal will fail. So check out the thread and make sure you follow it. And make sure you get a POPLA code from PE.0 -
As it is a company car you are the keeper as per POFA 2012 definitions.
Therefore parkingeye did not serve the NtK in time (14 days) and from now on they can only pursue the driver.
Therefore, never say who the driver is.
Appeal on the following grounds as the keeper.
1) Charge not genuine pre-estimate of loss
2) No contract with landowner
3) They cannot pursue you as the keeper as the NtK was not served in time
4) Signage was not adequate to form a contract with the driver
Edit. oops, you already appealed. If you said who the driver was, too bad...but you will still win with point 1. The score is currently 77-0 to the forum on that one!
When they reject your appeal, appeal to POPLA. They will uphold point 1, unless they are bored in which case they might go for 3.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
OP does not say that the NtK was not served on the Registered keeper in time, only that they, as driver/keeper at the time did not get it passed through the company system. Given who the PPC is, I bet it was dated within the requisite time and sent too.0

Dose it make a difference if I did the online appeal ! It was very short in its message, seems like a very basic page with limited fields.
I have had a response from the land owner who is a charity organisation and basically said they will not contact parking eye for them to cancel the fine. This was done via email.
I have read all the links and obviously is not the easiest jargon to get your head around. Best get the wife to have a look. How long will the appeal take to get a response or is it best to write to them rather than rely on the online process?0
