Has any one the Sainsbury's name/code for this BBQ? I'd rather ring a few branches then drive about on the off chance (I've already tried one....failed).

Also, does anyone know which is the largest Sainsburys store in outer London on the north side? (or South Herts)

The one I've bought for £37.50 is called "The two burner flatbed gas BBQ" and has a barcode 01253467

it comes in 2 boxes - 1 brown cardboard containing the wooden "trolley", 1 white box with the metal BBQ in it

Many thanks...with your info i was able to track one down.

For others who may be interested...the Sainsbury customer services helpline 0800 636262 can locate one for you if you give them the barcode of 01253467 (though today they couldn't as their main system was down...my local store was able to tell me the closest store was with them in stock!)

    Thanks once again...looks excellent value.

PS The CS Rep I spoke too knew of this BBQ & was intending buying one himself!

Glad I could help - I'm looking to add my own hood to mine for enclosed cooking and also a separate gas ring on the side to make it a super dooper all singing all dancing BBQ.

Re the latter, the wood doesn't match but you'll get an idea of what it's going to cost....

Argos currently have the Antony Worrel 4 Burner Stainless Steel BBQ on for £249. It looks like they are replacing the model with some plastic bits, so this is the outgoing model.

i bought one and it looks great. But at that price invest the further £30 in the cover.

Thanks to everyone for the heads up on the Sainsburys / Landmann BBQ. Managed to reserve the last one at my local, and despite only noticing that it was 2 boxes when i got home and had to go back for no 2, am very pleased.

    Heres to a drier summer.

I also got a result as a friend of mine supposedly has lots of spare gas bottles so no need to fork out. :T
