UKCPS - Parking Charge - Residential Carpark

Hey there guys,

I've been reading through this forum which is incredibly helpful and set my mind at ease. I'm really just looking for some advice to follow in regards to a parking charge notice issued by UKCPS. This charge was affixed to the windscreen of my mom's car, which was parked in the residential car park of my apartment complex. It wasn't in my apartments designated bay as my other flatmate had his car in it however it was definitely not in an obstructive place. Anyway the car was parked there as we were unloading some furniture and bags to take to my apartment. Just finished up, went upstairs for a cuppa came back down to find the charge. Can't hardly make out the time on the ticket so not sure exactly sure when it happened.

I really can't justify the 60 pound charge, considering unloading elsewhere would be a 10 minute walk and electric gates each time. I feel this charge is pretty unfounded and bordering on harassment. My mum's pretty affected by this as she suffers from depression and anxiety. Not a great day.

So really just wondering if I should take this up with my buildings manager to get the charge cancelled or start an appeal. Not received the NtK letter yet as it was very recent.

Any advice would definitely be appreciated. Thanks :)
