What is this thin pipe leaking water in the utility room?

Wonder if the OP has contacted LL and had the leak addressed?
Mr Ted: still waiting on your reply to my previous post.0 -
Condensate in 15mm copper? I'd guess at a PRV overflow pipe?
This may be splitting hairs, but as we are usually responding to laymen then it might accentuate the fact that it is a "Warning Pipe" and not an "overflow", WARNING being the word that should be emphasized
Only a combi will have the above.
THIS is what was TOTALLY incorrect! and as such misleading
I'm well aware of the difference between 'combi' and 'condensing'.
Then, as you know, you should clearly state the facts so as not to mislead laymen, it happens too often, and there is a REAL problem with sales of Boiler in that just about everyone thinks these days that all Boilers are Combi's, that does NOT give people the options that are actually available and is capitalised on, as is clear from posts on here where a Combi has clearly been miss sold :mad:And where did I claim to be a professional? We're all just guessing on here from a single photo, and little else to go on.
In that case there is more reason why you should NOT make comments on technical issues that lead people to believe you may be
the blind leading the blind leads to accidents

If you mean that, that is a statement from you, not a question, which YOU haven't embellished on
so away you go
This could tun out interesting
Not sure how long you have been off the tools, but there has been another way to meet requirements for several years. As someone once said
I'll leave you to google.;)'If you are a Professional offering advise on here, GET THE FACTS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thats a sour grapes NO then is it
You dont have to be still ON your tools to have professional knowledge
And I'll leave the Googling to you, I dont need it to know ALL the options
And you should know that is unprofessional to give professional trade information away :rotfl: after all that would mean the Tradesmen would all be moaning that their work load might suffer if every layman knew how to do every job
You should also know by now that petty sniping is summat that I can take all day long, fraid I wont bite there, you'll know when I do
SO OUT WITH IT THEN, LETS SEE HOW GOOD YOUR GOOGLE WORKS :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LETS SEE HOW RIGHT YOUR FACTS ARE

Id be interested, as a non tradesman I thought all prv discharge "warning" pipework had to be in copper due to the heat involved, the only plastic piece on my setup is the tundish.0

Viessmann and Atag both produce boilers with combined prv /condensate waste in plastic. D2 on unvented cylinders can be achieved using plastic components. A plumber/RGI holding G3 certificate of competence (Unvented Cylinders) on site could advise further.;)0 -

The requirements of G3 and the applications of high temp. plastics in the heating world aren't trade secrets.
Happy holidays.:snow_laug0 -
Hmm, I'm sure that I have a condensing combi boiler.
Because it does a combination of heating and hot water.
