    Welcome paulwgun.

SkyTalk does not give you much of a saving on your calls and, unless you only use them for your club calls (i.e. so you can produce a printout of club calls to claim reimbursement or whatever), you'd save more using 18866 and/or 1899 for those calls.

I'm on Carrier PreSelect with OneTel's LeisureUKTalk plan and use 1899 and 18866 for my daytime UK 01 & 02 calls (i.e. the ones I don't get free on OneTel).

With regard to line rental, it's discussed in a number of threads in the forum but, to save you time, remember that only BT is required by its licence to allow subscribers to use alternative carriers for their calls (i.e. any of the multitude of Carrier PreSelect companies, 1899, 18866 etc.). Most of the companies now offering line rental do currently allow that but could change their T&Cs to prevent it instantly. My personal view is it's not worth the possible hassle for the sake of a saving of 51p per month.
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").
