City Link came here the other day, the driver (who wasn't English) just kept repeating Motor Sport? I nearly accepted it thinking it was a car part for one of my sons but when I looked at the address it was for a motor bike shop on the main road.
Trying to explain he was on the wrong street and where the shop is was a nightmare, son said it would have been quicker and easier to just take it and he would have run it round to the shop.
I just hope they got it in the end.

This is what I was saying, if the wrong address is on there you do the right thing and drop it off to them. Not take the parcel and sell the goods!

Don't City Link have satnav and GPS??
Spend what is left after saving. Don't save what is left after spending
  • Funnily enough, we were tracking a parcel yesterday which was due before 9pm. Checked the tracking site at about 7.30 and it was still 'on the van'. 9pm came, no parcel. Checked tracking site and it said 'attempted delivery at 5.22 pm, card left' 'nobody home to receive'. (we were home)

Looked on website, next delivery slot 27th Dec. Didn't bother rescheduling.

Parcel just arrived at 12.00 today, Xmas eve.

Having said that, I do feel for the drivers of these firms. I have heard stories of 150 plus drop-offs in a day for these couriers. I don't think they are paid a great deal, and it is a bit ridiculous to expect EVERY parcel to arrive exactly when stated, particularly at this time of the year.

Having similar problems here, I returned an item to a shop, shop says item not received, as it had been signed for I asked for e-mail showing signature.

The squiggle that was supposed to be from someone in the shop was unreadable!
Will need to contact shop again but if they I still say they have not received it guess I am stuck.
