    JJ & McKneff correctly mentioned the timer which draws money back in and auto credits the account back. This wasnt what you asked but it was good of them to mention it. Shame you now criticise them and failed to thank them for their answers.

    if there was a person behind you it would be early xmas present for them and it would have been gone. halifax didnt refund it as a gesture of goodwill, the withdrawal was reversed as you never took cash. you were lucky as this is pretty darn stupid.
