    Well, that was exciting!

it is unusual for anything larger than a van to drive down our road due to the unfortunate habit many seem to have of parking right up to the corners. So when I saw a fire engine heading down the hill (large, with ladder on the back type) I stuck my head out of the door to see how they'd manage the turn - and found myself having my smoke alarms replaced free of charge courtesy of the WAG :T

Toe is still sore and DH has just re-dressed it; hopefully I can last out until after Christmas when I have to go to podiatry anyway but DH wants me to phone tomorrow just to let them know what [STRIKE]a prat I have been[/STRIKE] I have done :rotfl:

Very late post as we have been out visiting. Halfway through our trip to Kent and it has been great, after 5 years, catching up with friends and family.

Couple of beers for me and then bed
