Hi, apologies if this has been covered in another topic.

I own a flat in a block. It is a leasehold flat but I own a share of the freehold.

I'm unsure whether renting out the flat is allowed.

With in the lease there is the following statement:-

'Not to assign sub-let or part with possession of part only of the demised premises'

You can let the flat, but not divide it and let only part of it.
  • Thank you very much for your reply. I had a feeling it was along those lines. Thank you for the clarification!
