RDR and discount brokers for ISA's

Options
I have ISA's with Fidelity via discount broker Closebrothersam (previously through Allenbridge). Closebrothersam give the option to switch into their new platform. Now with the introduction of RDR it seems that Fidelity will reduce the AMC and charge platform fees for new ISA's and switches.

So am wondering do I move to Closebrothersam platform which has low charges but no commission rebate or should I just change agency to say Cavendish and stay with Fidelity. Allenbridge was very good and I always found the information they provided useful. However I find the Closebrothersam research and info is still good but not much different from the like of Hargreaves Landsdown where I have a SIPP.

I worry if I move to a fixed platform such as closebrothersam and then they put the charges up and then I have all the hassle of moving again. The advantage of Cavendish is I will get rebate on the AMC for those funds bought before the change.

I am thinking to wait a bit and see how things turn out might be the best option. These things are getting so complicated with a mix of fees depending on when you buy or switch.

I use Cavendish for funds and have had no problems. I ahve amix o fold school and clean. In some cases keeping dirty is cheaper (allowing for reduced dividends) than going clean and paying the additional fee.

As you say may be best to wait and see what the new year brings and any revised charging arrangements from the platforms at large.
