Advisory Notices And Lease Returns

I have a Peugeot 107 on their Just Add Fuel Deal which is coming to an end. As the car is now 3 years old I had it MOT'd and passed, but got an advisory note regarding my rear tyres perishing. The depth is fine, or else it would have failed, but there are cracks.
With the car being returned imminently, i.e. next week, will I have to replace these before handing it back? My agreement terms say I have to have a MOT certificate, which I have, but will they have scope to penalise me for not correcting the advisory part?
I asked the guy who did the MOT and he said that the dealer shouldn't charge me for it as it is fair wear and tear and the tyres are still legal. Any advice is appreciated.
