A few years back we splashed out on a new Christmas tree and a couple of sets of lights for it from Homebase.
Last night one of the light sets suddenly went out and after testing the lights on the other adapter it was obvious the adapter had burnt out.
Today we popped into Homebase to see if it was possible to buy a replacement adapter. The staff member said you couldn't buy the adapters separate and as it was a bespoke fitting we were unlikely to get one anywhere else. He said they still sell the same lights and could we give him a couple of minutes to check something, which we did.
A couple of minutes later he came back with a supervisor and had arranged for us to have a replacement adapter free of charge.
Thank you Homebase :T
