I use Windows 8.1 and Firefox to browse the web.
Lately, whenever I look at a retail page an extremely irritating pop up ad sticks up from the bottom of the page (rather like those awful MS "charms") showing competing items from other providers. I don't want this. It says it is from iVidi. Where has this come from and how can I eliminate it?

Many thanks for that link. I did everything it asked me to do!
However, although IE is installed on this computer, it has never been used. Do I still have to carry out the instructions they give for this, or will simply cleaning my default browser, Firefox, solve the problem?
BTW, as the computer was being scanned, it became obvious from which site I must have been infected!
Thanks again!0
