is the correct addresses actually appearing on there?0 -

To correct you, my mortgage was repaid in September 2011, so only 2.5 years ago. not 6 as you mentioned.
Further my UK RBS credit card was closed due to being dormant, in early 2011.
Yet neither of these appear on my report, and are well under the 6 year expiry times.
I find this strange, and it certainly causes me to question the accuracy of Experian, and I dare say, credit agencies in general.
Care to comment?
Have you checked your reports with the other 2 agencies. Not all lenders report to all 3 agencies. Experian only report data that they are told by lenders.
Presumably you have checked that your experian report shows your UK addresses that the mortgage and credit card accounts were last registered to.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Agreed that part of the problem is that Experian doesn't handle foreign addresses very well. When these accounts were closed, my last address was in Australia, and from memory they wouldn't let me enter them. A lot of Brits move around the world these days!0

offshoretiger - we can't process credit checks in other countries from the UK I'm afraid so your UK credit report will only cover addresses you've either lived at or corresponded from in the UK in the past six years. If you get in touch and give us more details on the accounts in question we can see if we can find where they have been registered for you, to try to bring them into your report.
