We have just had our hall/stairs reskimmed. We intend to do a couple of coats of waterdown matt emulsion on the walls. Is it ok to use silk emulsion for the top coats.
Thanks

non vinyl matt emulsion as a mist coat, watered down as per instructions on tin. Silk is fine as a top coat.........apart from it looking terrible and old fashioned. I would go for a matt emulsion, get diamond matt or real life matt if you need it to be cleanablego on, adopt a greyhound

I know you have to dilute the paint but anyone know by how much? Do you just dilute normal emulsion or buy a special paint?I'll never be a Money Saving Expert while my kids are Mony Spending Experts.0
