Wow, big fat envelope from PE!

Hi, just received a huge pack of info they have sent to POPLA before our appeal is heard.
Lots of photos of signs. Lots of examples of cases they have won. Quite intimidating not to mention not very green. They are trying to disprove the "no genuine pre-estimate of loss" defense which they say is no longer considered a valid defense. They enclose "proof" that they are authorised by the Landowners to issue parking charges.
Is this what everyone is sent before a POPLA appeal or am I just lucky?

They will lose, and you are right it's not very green

As their evidence pack and arguments are template, they will soon be getting the POPLA template reply.

    Appeal upheld!

ParkingEye have currently lost 77 cases regarding their charges and won zero, as reported here (up to post #687)

Plus they lost some others as well for different reasons.

ParkingEye seem to think that if they can kill a tree every time they send in an evidence pack, the sheer horror of having to read it all will force the assessor to uphold the ticket. So far that plan is not working too well.

Meanwhile their list of court cases they quote is not up to date. They seem to have missed this one out https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4774761

As they have been told time after time after time by POPLA that they cannot claim those amounts of money, does the fact they they are still sending out their silly PCNs amount to demanding money under false pretenses?

Hi - I've posted here before, it was "the Range" in St Helens - at night when the store was closed! I've been helped on here with my appeal letter and it's being heard on the 18th December. Fingers crossed.
