I'm sure there's a shortage of 50p's where I live. I've only managed to add another one since last Monday :( How often do you count your stash? I think I'll do mine on the 1st of every month. Won't take long the rate I'm saving them.:rotfl:

I usually empty my tin about once a month, usually put up money into DDs account, (loose change, 50ps, and pocket money), some months i put in £1 others £10 depends on whether we've been away, had last weekend away and with 50p and below DD came back with £15 in her tin x

Just counted mine, I have £9.50 in 50ps

Have decided they are for a house deposit, a LONG way off but I have to make a start.

I seem to get loads and then get none....most odd.

Just emptied the 50p and £8 to go in - upto £22

Only did so well as had weekend up coast, so there was plenty of change floating around, (inc 50p) my DD had £16 in loose change - that included some winning from 2p machines. xx

    Hi ,
    Can i join please?
I've been saving 50p in a tin since April, but because its the type you need to open with a tin opener I have no idea how much is in there. Not going to open it until beginning of December and use what I've saved for Christmas.
