Europarks - formerly known as Scrooge!

Tonight I came home to a nasty letter from Europarks demanding payment of a £90 parking fine incurred because we 'overstayed' in one of their car parks.

We had attended a theatrical do at a local venue parking in the supermarket car park nearest which is accepted precedent. The car park at the venue itself is microscopic and unsuitable so they generally direct folk to the bigger supermarket car park. I even put my blue disabled badge in the windscreen. It was however, late evening, none of the shops were open and the only other people parking were folk who were attending the same event as us - so I imagine they've also got similar letters today. It seems hugely unfair to penalise us because the show over ran, something that was totally out of our control anyway and I don't intend to pay an unfair fine.

Is there any thing i can do?

Plenty help is available, and you will NOT be paying this.

However you have posted this in the wrong section of MSE.

This is the general 'Motoring' section.

Post it again in the 'Parking Ticket, Fines and Parking' forum.

All you need to know and do to beat them is outlined in this thread:

But yes, when you have the bare bones of a challenge/POPLA appeal together, start a thread in the Parking Tickets Forum for any further help and advice. :)

You mean Euro Car Parks? I once had one of their fake PCNs myself.

We haven't seen you post on the right forum yet so I assume you found the info you needed in the linked thread from the Parking board already, re how to appeal as keeper (not as driver) then how to win 100% of the time at POPLA.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
