Buy theme park tickets before we go?

Going to Orlando soon, we have always purchased our theme park tickets in Orlando but wonder whether it would be cheaper to purchase before we go? Have looked through some blogs but so many different opinions. Anyone been recently? Would appreciate some recent advice.

    Depends what you need/want
    For WDW:
We want 6 days, no park hopping, no water parks so we're going to buy there as it will be a lot cheaper
If you want 14 days and will use all the extras then the UK premium tickets will probably work out cheaper.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Can't help with Universal as we're not doing that, but WDW MYW base tickets are currently $318 for 6 days and $329 for 7 days inc tax
(£193/ £200 at current exchange rate of 1.64)

  • Orlando Attractions are quoting $299.95 includes taxes for 6-day wdw base ticket, not saving much but every bit helps, so may purchase from them. Thanks for your reply.

    Is that each?

I guess David Bowie was right when he penned "Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow"
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
